At IPEX, palamides will prove under the motto “short set-up times”, that automatic deliveries can also be used effectively and with cost savings for small to medium sized runs.

A delta502 automatic delivery will be shown on the palamides exhibition stand in hall 19, which can be positioned and set up within 3 minutes from a double stream buckle plate folding machine to a combi folding machine with signatures in a single stream.

In a further step, the same delivery will be positioned behind a saddle stitcher simulation (a feeder from Bograma with very slippery, saddle-stitched products) and set up for the product in a few minutes in semi-automatic set-up mode.  This will show in a very impressive way how simple and quick the delivery is to set up and how diverse the applications are.

Furthermore, on the Bograma stand in hall 19, palamides will be showing an alpha500plus in a production line that manufactures desk calendar signatures with punch perforations for Wire-O bindings.

On the MBO stand, which is also in hall 19, several palamides deliveries with various applications will also be shown.  “Daily news” signatures, fresh from the press, will be delivered efficiently and completely without marks using an alpha700plus.

High speed signature production in double stream on a delta703 automatic delivery can show the potential the deliveries have for large folding capacities.

High speed delivery is shown by palamides with two Ehret sheeters, which produce DIN long flyers with over 30,000 products per hour per stream.

At IPEX, palamides will present themselves as an excellent partner for streamlining production efficiently with the help of deliveries, especially for small and medium sized companies.

We will refute in a credible way, the argument from most users that “a palamides delivery is not suitable for medium to small runs”.
