This machine is no longer manufactured
This machine was discontinued from the middle of May 2006.

The Advantages
  • Streamlining of the delivery process on saddle stitchers and folding machines
  • Makes use of the top running speed and performance of the production machines
  • Short  setting-up times
  • Many uses due to the variety of applications possible and the large format range
  • Short amortisation period
  • Mark-free delivery (no smearing on freshly printed or sensitive sheets)
  • Integrated pressing unit with main and pre-pressing rollers
  • Ergonomic working height for removing bundles
  • Waste sheets are ejected automatically
  • By using different coloured bands per stream, it is possible to easily distinguish different versions (e.g. language versions)

How it works

The folded sheets are taken from the folding machine by means of round belts.  In this area, the folded sheets are electronically measured, spread out and fed into the pressing device.  Waste sheets are ejected via a deflector.  The pressing device is equipped with two pre-press rollers and two main pressing rollers.

Trapped air is smoothed out from the leaflets in the pre-press rollers; in the main rollers it is pressed out.  Now the folded sheets are shingled and fed into the pile container.  Here they are knocked up from three sides, which contributes significantly to the formation of a tidy pile.

Once the pile has reached the amount selected electronically, the shingled stream is temporarily interrupted and the pile is lowered.  Here the pile is pressed again and at the same time wrapped with Kraft paper.   As this is happening, a new stack is being prepared above it.  Afterwards, the packages are delivered to the operator at an ergonimic working height via the parcel lift.

The automatic delivery is mobile and can easily be installed behind another machine.  It can be changed to a different format in a few minutes.
