For more than 25 years, the name palamides stands for partnership, quality and inventiveness. These principles continue to inspire us to develop new products that change everyday working life in the printing industry. Over the past ten years, we have developed the smartflat technology, which has shaped the company alongside our globally proven delivery technology.
Our products set standards in terms of ergonomics, efficiency and durability. Our customers appreciate the fact that palamides machines can be adapted to a wide range of specific requirements. Individual special solutions enable all producers to use our machines in their production.
palamides was founded in 1972 as palamides Papierverarbeitungs GmbH in Stuttgart and been based in Renningen since 1985. Daily changing requirements in his parents' business inspired Stefano Palamides to develop the first automated delivery for rationalized workflows on folding machines and saddle stitchers.
After the system, which was actually developed for in-house use, proved to be very effective, palamides GmbH began selling the auotmated delivery in 1997 and changed the company's business from bookbinding to mechanical engineering.
